Frame a Dream

SPRING 2018

Untitled-1_edited.png

"I wish to have more friends and be the famous kid in school."         -Logan, Age 10

The Frame a Dream Project pairs ASU Interior Design students with a child from the Phoenix children's hospital to help make one child’s dream come true. The kids write down their dream on a piece of paper as well as their age and gender. As
for the ASU students we try our best to make their dreams a reality by building a model or object that can best represent their dream.

The clear acrylic base stand was to show that he needs to be himself and have no filter when it comes to making friends. The string represents the connections he could have across the world. Our final touch was to add a light because when he’s
himself his personality and spirit radiates to the people around him.

Group Project with Ruowen Sun, Wenxiao Ding, Adrian Keller and Stacey Nieth

CONCEPT:

"With Logan's numerous lifestyles that encircle home, school and the hospital, friends could be lost, some need to be reminded of their strength to gain their confidence again. To know that they aren't alone and unstoppable."
